so tell me about when your period returns

DS is almost 6 months and we are still EBF, but he has decreased frequency and duration of night feedings. Well, today I was having some signs of ovulation, so I used an OPK that I had leftover and it's positive. Ugh. So I guess I get to look forward to my period in a couple weeks.

What should I expect as far as my milk supply goes? I've always had a great supply and I'm hoping the return of my period doesn't permanently affect that. I really want to keep EBF'ing until DS decides he's done.

    Ha I was about to ask the same question! Pretty sure I was ovuating last week....uggggggg! We r 5months today ebf.

    I'm one of the lucky ones that has their period the entire time, regardless of EBFing.

    I do notice a slight dip, but it bounces back quickly. I have an oversupply though so it's NBD.

    I haven't got af yet. LO is 11 months. I'm not missing it.
