Names have been an interest of mine for years, now I'm truly here for a reason.. since I got a BFP this morning after 5 months of TTC- woohooo!!! Now instead of names as a "hobby", I actually need to name a real live kid. Still in shock.
On a related note, I was at the grocery store this morning and a little boy started running down the aisle away from his mom and she said "Roman! Get back here!" .. not a name I hear very often, whatcha think? I might sorta like it. I'm not sure.

I wouldn't side eye Roman, but I'd never use it.

I really like the name Roman. I can't use it because it doesn't sound good with our last name, but I think it's a great name.
I had Roman on the list but my other half nixed it. Sad!

Honestly, I neither like nor dislike Roman. It's just one of those names that doesn't strike me one way or the other.

2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

I knew a guy named Roman, he was from France, so maybe it's a traditional French name? I like it much better than Rowan- I feel like so many little children could have a hard time saying that name.

I wouldn't use it, but I don't find it horrible. There is a Roman in DD1's gym class and I think it fits him well. Stocky kid always running around doing this thing haha.
I have a student named Roman this year. It's really grown on me a lot. He's a great kid and it really suits him.
