Sto71:How far along could you be and still not have any surge detected?
HPT accuracy DPO
10 dpo : 35%
11 dpo : 51%
12 dpo : 62%
13 dpo : 68%
14 dpo : 74%
15 dpo : 80%
16 dpo : 88%
17 dpo : 92%
18 dpo : 99%
So technically you could be 14dpo and still have a chance that the test isn't catching the hcg in your system. It doesn't surge though like pp stated. Hope that helps!
When you're pregnant you don't have a small window where you turn a pregnancy test positive and then they stop being positive.
So, you're not in any danger of having a sidewalk baby - if your pregnancy test says negative, it is most likely that you are not currently pregnant.
TTC since October 2011. PCOS, single fallopian tube. HSG showed tube was
blocked (this is but one reason why you undergo testing BEFORE starting
fertility meds, kiddos). TTC on hold due to DX of Stage IV lung cancer
in August 2013, non-smoker. Cancer found due to blood clot in leg
(WTF?) DX Stage IV adenocarcinoma of the lung, with liver and bone metastases. Genetic tests of tumor showed positive for rare
ALK gene mutation
(only 4% of lung cancer patients have it). Started Xalkori (oral chemo)
9/13/13. Scan on 10/30/13 shows lymph shrinkage (yay!). Hospitalized
over Thanksgiving (12 days) due to fluid around heart. Underwent surgery
to install pericardial window. Xalkori resistance confirmed. Started
clinical trial for a new (3rd gen) ALK responsive drug on 12/13/13. Scan
on 2/3/13 showed marked improvement. Lymph nodes are shrinking, right
lung is opening up and the lesion on my liver has shrunk by more than
50%. CT scan on 3/31 showed marked improvements in both lung and liver, YES! PET scan in two months.
