I'm there with ya. One week two days and down 30lbs. I'm thinking most of it was fluids though cause I had some serious issues with swelling.

Honestly all I'm doing is breast feeding. That and I have zero time to stuff my face like I was while pregnant. Little man keeps me really busy

Y'all are all giving me hope. I have gained ~25 lbs, and was fretting about losing the weight PP... I already feel better just reading your stories :)
I gained 52lbs with the twins and I have lost all but 6lbs. I am 19 days past c-section.
The last few lbs may be an issue as it is the dreaded twin skin and I am not sure how exactly to tone/lose. I will start working out as soon as I am cleared by my doctor.
I was excited today as I was able to put on my first pair of pre pregnancy pants but I am still just a tad too big for my jeans.
I gained about 25 lbs and have about 5 left to go 12 days PP. Here's how I lost those first 20 lbs:
1. Remove baby, placenta, amniotic fluid from body.
2. Have awful night sweats to get rid of retained fluid.
3. BF/pump to burn some extra calories (but make up for a lot of it by finally getting to eat some treats I couldn't / didn't want to during pregnancy).
And that's it. Depending on how much you gained, it's entirely possible you won't have to do anything to get back to your PP weight. I didn't with DD. However, with her it took a long time for me to fit in my pre-pregnancy pants, and in some cases I haven't been able to wear them at all, because my body shape changed. i.e. my hips spread and my tummy has a little c/s pooch.
I got home from the hospital 15 pounds lighter then when I got pregnant. It helped that I only gained 14 pounds the whole pregnancy (and 5 of those were in the last 4 days). Since then I've lost another 5.
I credit breastfeeding and my son crying whenever I try to eat. :)
I do still have some toning to do. I must have lost other places, because my stomach is still mishapen and flabby looking.
I was 3lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight at a week PP when I was re-hospitalized, and at my WIC appt friday I had lost another 5lbs. Granted with all the hospital crap, I've been on NPO and clear liquids, and since being home I'm finding that I can't really eat much of substance without feeling unpleasantly full, although I think the massive amounts of water I've been drinking play into it, too. I can usually manage a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, but whatever else I eat for the day is usually a handful of whatever I can nibble on while Colton is nursing (Michael made fun of me yesterday because over the course of the afternoon, I had apple slices, baby carrots, and a couple dinosaur chicken nuggets, which is the exact lunch I had also made for my 4 year old nephew who's staying with us, lol).
