Hi, Ladies! Does anyone have experience with Birth Boot Camp online birth classes (they are geared toward natural birth). For a variety of reasons, it seems to make sense for DH and me, but I wanted to see if anyone had any personal experiences before I pulled the trigger.
Here's a link (sorry its not clicky): https://birthbootcamp.com/
TIA!

Will your DH read a book?
Will your DH read a book to save $285?
If so, just buy this book: https://www.amazon.com/The-Birth-Partner-Third-Edition/dp/1558323570/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_1

Haha -- you know how to motivate my husband. Will it be enough information for me? I also have the ubiquitous Ina May's Guide to Childbirth...
I found The Birth Partner a lot more "hands on" than Ina May. Ina May has some lovely stories. The Birth Partner is nuts and bolts on labour and delivery and newborn care, with pain management strategies and lots of suggestions. It's more of a how-to manual than the emotional side that I would put Ina May's book into.
It only works if he reads it, though. In my case, we did neither the book for DH (I read lots) nor the classes. We paid a doula to show up and tell him what to do in the moment. Best money I spent on the baby/birth.
