EP and no pump

I bought a medela swing when I decided to EP. I have never had a problem until I was at work tonight and it wouldn't turn on. I freaked out! I didnt know what was wrong with it and I was so scared I would have to stop breastfeeding. I don't really have the money for another pump at the moment. Luckily I have one massive frozen stash though.

But funny story. I asked our engineer on staff to look at it and it turns out the wire was just bad..Works with battieries. Crisis averted :)

  • I would call Medela ASAP to get it replaced. I always found that my pump in style didn't work as well w/ the batteries as it did w/ the cord.

  • It is probably covered under warranty still. Call them and check it out before you spend any of your own money fixing it or replacing it.
