DMG122183:I saw this on Good Morning America. As a women who is about to birth a baby (hopefully any minute now) it made me a little nervous. Not gonna lie!
Luckily, we have an advantage over them! The oxytocin that releases during labor counters the stress hormone, encourages sleepiness and helps us to relax. There are other hormones released too to counter the pain and stress and ease us through it.
I can't access YouTube at work, but if this was the one I saw, the other thing to remember is that we contract in our uterus, not in our abdomen, so the feeling would be wholly different.
Though I do think it's hysterical to see men going through this! At least they get a general idea of what it's like!!
