Just make sure you teach him how to start a fire.

I was thinking the same thing! Flint is bad!
Flint is bad.
Flynn, however, I really like.
I don't like it. Flint could be a nn but it doesn't feel like a FN to me.
I do like Finn or Flynn

I don't think Flint is bad at all. I like it as a nature name for a boy. Most rock names go boy for me.I went to college with a Flint, he was a really nice guy, no one made fun of him for his name.
I like it with Hazel, but not with Ashlynn. Then you get too much of a fire pit theme rather than a nature theme.
AnnieBN:NMS, and I don't think it goes with your sibset.
Fits right in with the depressed and blighted city names Camden and Trenton.
I wouldn't name my kid after a poverty stricken city in Michigan.
Bad bad bad. Flynn is good. Finn is good. Flint is not.
fairbl:Whoa ladies, don't go jumping off a bridge just yet! I guess we'll be crossing Flint off the list! Lmao! It is funny though how some mineral names: clay, coal, mica, work well, but i guess Flint is just too out there!
Actually they're pretty horrible as well.
