Sometime in the first year or 2.
Really, it depends on if you BF or not, when they start solids, if they eat overnight and a million other things.
I EBF until 6 moths, neither STTN, and I BFed past one. Got one period back at 11.5 months and the other at 13.
It's completely different for everyone. Some get it in the month or two after, some wait a year or more. It can depend on if you're breastfeeding (and whether you're breastfeeding exclusively or not), but it doesn't have to - like if you're breastfeeding exclusively it can still come right away, but might not. It's one of those things that's just a mystery! I don't think mine came until 5 months, and my son was exclusively breastfed at that time.
When it doesn't come, it won't be regular...and it might not show it's presence again for a couple of months. It also might stick around for weeks before it decides to end.
Depends on a million factors.
For me, I didn't BF. I went back on birth control pills at my 6 week PP check up and got my first period at the end of that pack so 10 weeks PPish?
I've had 2 already. One at 5 weeks and one at 9 weeks. They were not bad at all. Lasted about 3 days a piece, and weren't' really heavy or painful. I had a backache the day before and the first day, both times, but that's about it. (FF)
With my first pregnancy, it came at 8 wks, and was REALLY bad. 2 weeks long, super heavy, terrible cramps. (BF)
