Love Mitchell!!! Love love love!!
Honestly? It reminds me of Dennis the Menace. But, I adored that show so whatever.
Okay, Kids - it's coming back: My Awesomesauce "Science is for everyone!" Blog.

Mitchell's Fish Market is "our" place for nice dinners out. Love that place! But the name for a child - nope, not a fan. I do NOT like Mitch.
It also reminds me of Dennis the Menace. lol
rider5344:I love the name, but DH thinks it's trashy/red neck. It's my maiden name so not sure what that says lol
Whaaaaaaaaaat? That's an odd way to view Mitchell, honestly. Now, if you said Emmett, I'd be on board (and I realize I'm very alone in the assessment, especially on this board. Haha).
It doesn't make me think of anyone or anything in particular, but I just wanted to say that I like it
It's a sold, strong, masculine name.
I love Mitchell, but don't love Mitch. I knew a Mitch in high school - be careful when playing the "name game"! I agree with PP that Mitchell just seems better suited as a middle name.
While it's not a favorite name of mine I'd never consider it to be trashy or anything. It's a fine name, though I'm not a huge fan of the NN Mitch.
Shampoo! Paul Mitchell is what I think of first.
It's an ok name. I don't think it's trashy, but it'd be best in the mn spot.
ADORE it! But we couldn't use it because my cousin's kid has this name. He's a teenager who rides dirt bikes, horses and plays football in Texas. Solid, manly name that will age very well into adulthood!
I don't really associate the name with anything in particular. If I heard it used on a baby I would just think, Wow, what an awesome underused name.
