sugarellie:I've hears SO many complaints about Kaiser since ive been on the bump. What kind of Dr/ins does not do bloodwork or u/s?! that does not sound safe. Thankful to not have kaiser
I have Kaiser and have learned the way to beat the crappy system is to find a good doctor (I saw 8 during my last pregnancy/miscarriage until I settled on one!!!) and build a relationship with them. My Kaiser doctor answers my emails within minutes, even on weekends and when she's on vacation!! She is doing every test I ask for, and she moved my appointment up 2 weeks to help me with my peace of mind....she really is a daimond in the rough. I would possibly ask to see a different doctor. I am getting bloodwork and an ultrasound at my first appointment today, and I'm at 7 weeks...
This has not been my experience with Kaiser. With my first, I did my paperwork and bloodwork almost right away and had my first u/s at 7 weeks. I was even able to get an NT scan at another nearby Kaiser location (100% covered by my insurance).
Maybe it depends on where you live, but I have never had any issues with them.
