SO I had my first follow up at the RE since I started stimming Friday. I'm 28, and right now I have 8 total follicles, 3 of which are 9cm and above, and the other 5 are at like 4-6cm. RE basically told me I'm not responding nearly as quick as they normally see for my age..So I"m upping my dosages of Folistim to 225 from 150, and keeping Menapur the same. So I know all hope isn't necessarily lost, but he made mention that we may have to be happy with 3 if we cant get the rest to get moving..So I"m freaking out a bit. Has anyone been responding slowly, upped their dose an seen great results before their ER?! I mean right now, the game plan was to do our ER on Monday the 21, which is a week away! I just know this entire thing is a number's game..you need more follicles to get more eggs, to get more that will fertilize and then hopefully from that move to become embryos...so at 3 eggs, I'm freaked we may only get 1 that we can transfer with none to leave behind(if we're lucky)...and then if that doesnt stick, THEN WHAT!? I'm sure I'm not the first women to have a mild freak out like this while going through IVF. Maybe it's the hormones but I am really upset right now and need some encouragement that upping the dose can make a huge difference and we can get more from this. Thanks Ladies
TTC since 11/11. 10 months natural= 10 BFN
8/12 First appt with RE

3 months of testosterone treatments = 3 more BFN
DH bkoodwork after 3 months treatment= no change
RE says we can continue with hormone treatment for MIF, But says it could be year or more to see results that would even make us
RE says we can try IUI but doesn't expect the results to be good based on severe MIF.
12/12 decide to move forward with IVF
Started IVF Cycle #1 1/11/13 Antagonist Protocol
IVF Cycle #1 Canceled due to poor response and lead follicle problems.
1118/13 started Provera to get body back to baseline
Hope to start IVF Cycle #2 in Feb or Mar
