Trying to Get Pregnant

Dr Schulze's female formula

Has anyone ever used this? Supposedly it helps regulate hormones, I have issues with mild anxiety, wondering if anyone has used this for that, or any other reason. If you have used it, did you notice a difference? TIA!

    Dr. Schulze is your doctor?

If the answer is no, I'd speak to your doctor before taking any medication/remedy.

It contains Vitex. If it is even suggested for you, it takes months to see any effects. In the amount of time it takes to work the majority of couples will conceive anyway, which make it looks like it helps, but it has no effect.

I haven't used it for anxiety but I used it after my 2nd miscarriage and my cycle was back to normal within a couple of months (as opposed to 6-7 months after the 1st one). It could totally be coincidental but it seemed to work for me.

CFNBC as of August 2013. TTC since October 2011. PCOS, single fallopian tube. HSG showed tube was blocked (this is but one reason why you undergo testing BEFORE starting fertility meds, kiddos). Diagnosed with stage IV ALK+ adenocarcinoma of the lung in August of 2013. Metastases in liver, bone and brain (as of 5/2014). 1st chemotherapy treatment failed, hospitalized in November-December 2013. Started clinical trial drug in December, disease in lung is significantly less, and is stable as of May 2014. Brain tumors found during May 2014 MRI. Radiation therapy (CyberKnife) started 6/24/2014-7/9/2014 (all done!). CT 7/15 showed progression of disease in lung and liver (liver, significantly) so IV chemotherapy will begin 7/23/2014. Chemo Cycle #2 started 8/22.  Chemo Cycle #3 started 9/11. Cycle #4 started 10/2. Brain MRI 10/9. Cycle #5 scheduled for 10/23. All are welcome!!

@blinnea23 I actually take it and have been since last summer. My Mom has been buying their products for years and years. You may message me for info if you like. It has saved my PMS symptoms. I know not everyone believes in taking vitamins but it has helped me a lot and I will continue to take until I am pregnant.

This isn't just like taking a daily multi-vitamin, if it has Vitex in it then it can seriously screw with your hormones.

Vitex contributed to my fucked up cycles, so good luck with that "taking it until you're pregnant" thing.

So you take something to eliminate symptoms but haven't bothered to determine the cause of your symptoms? Sounds responsible.

Ingredients: Vitex agnus-castus/Chaste Tree berry, Discorea villousa/Wild Yam rhizome, Angelica polymorpha sinensis/Dong Quai root, Damiana leaf, Licorice root and Hops flowers.

Vitex and Wild Yam alone totally fuck with your estrogen production. Doesn't sound smart to do on your own. If a doctor confirmed a hormonal imbalance within you they wouldn't prescribe this "vitamin"

Psst.. It's not a vitamin, but keep self medicating.
