I'm learning a lot from all of you, so up front I really want to thank you for sharing your knowledge here. As you may recall, I am new to all of this. We are planning a freeze-all IVF cycle this spring (fingers crossed there will be healthy embryos to freeze, of course) I am hoping to do a frozen egg transfer in May sometime if we get healthy embryos to freeze. I am curious about a couple of things on timing. Sorry if these are terrible questions - I'm just really new to all of this. If there is a good resource out there for me to learn more about "the basics" I can take a look at that for sure. Feel free to link me or recommend books/articles.
-How soon after an IVF cycle for egg retrieval will AF usually show up (therefore re-starting my cycle, right?)
-If the first FET is not successful, how long do most RE's/women choose to wait before trying another FET?
-I am not sure whether we will choose to do a medicated cycle or a natural cycle following egg retrieval or not. How does this choice impact the timing of FET following the IVF retrieval process?
-Essentially, if the first attempt at FET doesn't work, when would the soonest second FET likely be possible?
Thanks in advance...
