Hi ladies. Last week I ditched 2 of the bottles my lo was drinking and started putting her formula in her straw cup. She was taking 4 bottles day I kept the am & pm bottles for now. One reason I went ahead was because she's been drinking from a straw since she was a week shy of 7 months and two she's become very hard to lean back and drink her bottles. She is CONSTANTLY drinking, sitting up to see whats around, leaning back again 15 seconds sits back up. Doesn't matter if I try to take her in her room in the dark, shut off off the tv etc...so I figure she can sit up and drink since she doesn't have to lean back using a straw. She could care less that her bottles where switched. The only thing is she takes forever to drink it all. It's not like a bottle where she'll slam it in 5-15min it's been more 45-1hr to get her to drink most of it. I don't want her formula intake to dip too much right now. But she was also leaving ounces her in bottles too. It is normal for them to take longer once off the bottle? Tell me if your lo just drinks up their formula in about the same time they did to drink a bottle. I could honestly just take all bottles away and not have her pitch a fit but I'm leary of her dropping too much if I did. AHH so sorry this ended up long winded.
