My nurse mentioned that at my ET I will need to have a full bladder - that part I already knew. But then she said that I will have a urine catheter inserted after ET. This was news to me. I've never heard anyone else mention that on TB. I'm not complaining because the idea of having a full bladder during the time I wait on the table doesn't sound fun, but the urine catheter doesn't sound like a picnic either. Anyone have experience with this? Or if you've been through an ET and laid with your bladder full, do you wish you had been catheterized?
