I was scheduled to undergo my embryo transfer at 9 this morning. On Tuesday when the nurse called to schedule, she said that the transfer may be done under anesthesia but won't know till transfer day. So I should go ahead and drink 3 glasses of water before coming in to make sure I have a full bladder if we don't do it under anesthesia. I show up today and they apparently decided we were definitely doing the transfer under anesthesia and since I followed the directions of my nurse and drank water I know have to wait for it to exit my system and for my doctor to become available again.... So I'm here for another 2 hours doing nothing, with an IV in a freezing room.
But I did get to see something cool today... My Embryo! An expanded blastocyst! How cool!
