ETA: Made up SOUNDING. It's actually Yiddish when spelled Baila or Indian if Bala, but not sure if the pronunciation is the same for all three.

I know of one child named Bayla and have heard the name I think one other time.  I don't think it's so bad.

I can deal with/ like Layla or Kayla, but Bayla sounds like its trying to hard. I would not do it.

That's half of my Hebrew name (Laya Bayla). Maybe my opinion doesn't matter since it's not used very often, but I've always liked it and thought it was pretty.

It sounds made up. Think about it... you could do this name with other letters too.

Bayla, Cayla, Dayla, Fayla, Gayla, Hayla, Jayla, Kayla, Layla, Mayla... does that make sense?
