A little background first, I have severe, uncontrolled asthma and have taking oral and multiple inhaled steroids for it for the past 10 months. Despite all the medications, I still struggle to breath everyday, it is awful and has triggered me to have anxiety attacks frequently. Because of the oral steroid use, I got a stress fracture in my foot. In addition I have gained tons of weight and developed "moon face" and gotten what they have refer to as a buffalo hump. My doctors have repeatedly warned to avoid contact with people have the flu. I am considered immunosuppressed.
We drove up to the IL's for Christmas on Friday. We were planning on staying until the 2627th. However, DH brother and family are coming to the IL tomorrow afternoon and apparently his wife has the flu and the others are just getting over the flu.
I am considered very, very high risk if I contract the flu. I really want to leave before they arrive, but I think DH is going throw a fit when I tell him this and somehow says i want to leave because I hate his family, which I don't.
Am I wrong for on insisting on leaving?
I should also add that his family spent several days at our house during Easter and Thanksgiving week. We are also going to spend a week with them this summer. But is still going to stay he never gets to spend time with them.
