I've been working on my teaching credential for what seems like forever, and it finally went through a few months ago, but no one was hiring. I finally got two interviews on Wednesday, and I got the call yesterday that they picked me! Of the two, it was even the one I wanted! I will be starting after Winter Break, teaching high school Algebra and Geometry. I'm so excited! My current boss is pissed, even though I warned her months ago that I was looking for a teaching job (I practically carry her company as no one else seems to understand what customer service is). Anyways, can other teachers give me any advice about starting up halfway through the year? They just had finals, so at least I'm starting at the new semester. Other than my confidence that I am a great teacher, I'm terrified !
