maybe not positive but.......you still have 4 days until you're full term
patience there lady! :)
i wasn't dilated AT ALL until they induced me 10 days over.......... SORRY! no help here
sbevmc09:Just because you're not yet dilated doesn't mean that your body isn't preparing for L&D. It doesn't mean anything. Don't let it discourage you. Just trust that your body is doing what it needs to be doing right now and that labor will start when baby is ready to come.
This.... I don't even think I was 1 cm by 41 wk 3 days, then they stripped my membranes and boom labor started...
I wasn't dialated or effaced at 40 weeks. I went into labor 2 days later...
carteramariec:On the flip side, I was 3 cm dilated and 90% effaced last week and my doctor said that she expected I wouldn't make it to my next appointment. Well, a week later I'm 4 cm dilated and 90% effaced and still have a baby in my belly. And having a different doctor say that she thought I would go into labor within a few days was really discouraging because somehow I doubt it!!
I'm in a similar boat, although not as dilated or effaced (2-3cm and 60-70%). My doctor kept telling me she was sure I wouldn't see my due date... well, I'm due Monday and still pregnant. Not only that, but baby was at -1 station last week and now is -3 (moving in the wrong direction).
MollusksWrangler:My cervix was high and closed I had my daughter 3 days later. The checks mean very little.
