So, I finished my Hail Mary b2b IUIs today. So far so good, though it looks like I only had one follicle so it's not like my chances are much greater than in a normal month (no MFI so the IUI aspect theoretically doesn't make much of a difference).
Some of you might recall that I have a serious egg maturity issue. Today, right after my second IUI, over 48 hours post HCG trigger, they measured my progesterone. It was 3.2, which was just barely ovulatory (they consider anything 3+ ovulatory). My 7 day progesterone is usually 12+. The nurse who gave me my results thinks I must have just been ovulating when I was getting my second IUI. If this is actually the case, it means I take 12+ hours longer to respond to the trigger than average, which may be the reason that during IVF I get almost no mature eggs. Not sure how we'll use this information, but it's interesting to have.
So now I'm in another 2ww. I'm not very optimistic but at least I feel like I'm doing something.
Me: 39. DH: 41. TTC since 2009. Normal-ish hormone levels (<9.5 FSH, 0.9 AMH). Weird egg maturity issue.
