BethPSU:Eloise is pretty, but Ellie is overdone. It seems like every little girl with a name that starts with EL goes by Ellie. I would call her Eloise.
I agree. Eloise is beautiful and doesn't need a nickname. :)
Eloise is by far one of my favorite girl names. I like the nn Ellie, but I've also become fond of the nn Lulu (but, that's just me).
I think it's a classic, timeless, underused girl name. Great choice!
