danieliza1127:I didn't have a pap at my 6 week pp. You'll have a pap when you're due for your yearly exam like normal. I think all my doc did was look down there and poke around and make sure everything was back to normal. I don't remember any pain or discomfort or anything.
Me too. No pap because they only say I need one every three years and I had one last year. She checked to make sure everything looked ok. Didn't even really check internally. It was no biggie.
This. I also had an episiotomy, and it wasn't painful.
I had an almost 4th degree tear, and at my 6 week pp appointment I got a pap. I'm sorry to say that it hurt pretty bad. I was still pretty sore most of the time though.
I think you'll have a lot better luck than I did, since you had an episiotomy (I don't know how big of one you had though) and that you are sore only off and on.
