I just want to poop.
that's not asking for much..right?
I can't handle prunes, but dried apricots work pretty well for me. :)
Pineapple and mango worked for me. And some Colace to help it pass without tearing me a new one. Decaf coffee normally works like a charm for me, but the Zofran was undoing all the coffee's hard work! Pumpkin (real, not just the flavour) works really well, too.
Nowadays, I have the opposite problem. I take an Immodium tablet once every other day...

Because Colace doesn't make you poop-- for that, you need other stuff. (I didn't learn this until nursing school-- I thought previously that it was all stuff to actually make you poop.)
The colace makes the poop softer so it is easier to get out, kind of like a lube for poop (I actually did learn that in nursing school but it never mattered before). Most laxitives are not a good idea during pregnancy. Now I am on iron so it is not going to get any better.
Hot cup of coffee... Works every morning :)
