Ignore this. It's a troll.
I got the flu shot with this pregnancy and my last. It is recommended. A high fever from the the flu could be dangerous.
Maui71407:What are your thoughts or experience on getting the flu shot at 6 weeks! People at work are dropping like flies and I am freaking out.
I too had one of my staff sicker than death, but refused to go home. All the coughing, hacking, and germs in the air (and piled in tissues) made me queezy. I just got the flu shot at my first OB appointment, and over 24 hours later I feel great! One of the nurses mentioned that they normally try to wait until 2nd tri, so I read all the information and it said have it as soon as possible. Walgreens also had a PSA posted at the pharmacy that flu season has started early this year and will be a bad one. I am glad I got mine now since it can take up to 2 weeks to kick in.
Married 3 years with an amazing son born breached at 37 weeks by C-Section!
