Lately I have been occasionally feeling LO having what feel like short spasm episodes -- like rapid spasmy movement for a few seconds, then it stops.
I don't remember feeling this with DD.
Whitney915:I had this maybe a monthormaybe two months ago and looked into it (I was worried that she was having a seizure!) from what I could find its not actually the baby but the uterus that is spasming and it supposed to be totally normal. That's just what I've read -- of course you could be feeling something different so it never hurts to ask the doc.
Awe makes sense! And I too thought maybe baby was having a seizure! Sounds like it is common though.
BLPL101:Yep. It's happened to me many times and for months.
Me, too. It seems to happen more when I lay on my side to sleep at night. Sometimes it feels like s/he is suddenly stretching out arms and legs at the same time and shaking. Like... a dance move or something. It's weird.
jolenes27: Are u guys talking about baby hiccups?
No, it's like a little spasm.
