Any reccomendations for Parenting Methods?

I have been research, and find conflicting theories on child discipline, can anyone reccomend websites or books that offer alternative parenting methods, and child discipline, or attatchment parenting.

I just ordered the book "Playful Parenting". I've heard great things about "Love and Logic" too. Good luck!
