I am 26 weeks pregnant and just had my appt. I was SHOCKED to find out I have gained 25 lbs!! I was 5'4, 135 lbs before pregancy. I don't understand this. I walk 2 miles 4-5 times a week. I keep my snacks healthy, though I do indulge more than pre-pregancy (but I hear of women who indulge MUCH more than I, and they seem to be on track with weight gain??) My dr. said this was where she was hoping I would end at, but if I am eating healthy and exercising, then my metabolism is just responding differently. She said to try and end up at 40 lbs gain.I have 14 more weeks to go and I am so afraid I am going to end up gaining like 60 lbs!
p.s.- I have had my gestational screening and it looked great. My blood pressure is always normal.
