Mobile users: Home! And an emotional week...
After 11 days in the hospital, I'm finally HOME! Long story short, I've been having contractions and PTL since my gallbladder surgery (end of October) with several complications related to both. On Thanksgiving, I ended up being admitted to the hospital again and they determined I had another kidney infection, which they believe was causing the PTL. Turns out my ureter was swollen and causing my kidney to not drain properly, in turn, causing the infections. They placed a kidney ureteric) stent, so hopefully this will fix the problem!
So after 11 days in the hospital, I finally got to come home last night, still on total bed rest, but at least I'm at home! It had been terribly hard being away from DD and this week is not going to get better (emotion-wise). My due date with DD was a year ago today and she will turn 1 on Thursday! Pregnancy hormone and baby-turning-one hormones don't mix! And to top it off, our A/S is on Thursday. I hate that it has to be on DD's birthday, but we had to work the schedule with both my OB and MFM, so we didn't have a choice.
The point of this post: if you have any extra T&Ps you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd really appreciate it. Between 2 surgeries, a placental abruption, and PTL, I'm pretty much terrified for our A/S. It has been one thing after another with this pregnancy, so we could really stand to get some good news.
Good luck to all the other ladies with ultrasounds this week!
