I just switched out DD2's car seat that clicked into her stroller because she could not fit in it anymore, and put in a convertible car seat rear facing. I had to do this with DD1 before age one but I don't remember it being SO HARD to get her in and out of the convertible seat. DD2 is a little younger because she is longer at the 8 months than DD1 was. I don't want to turn it forward facing because I know that impacts affect babies differently at different ages and all that, but she barely fits rear facing, and the seat is tilted back as far as it will safely go. She cries everytime I put her in there because I have to contort her body into a pretzel to get her in. She has almost four more months of growing to do, and by that time, she will have her knees under her chin. I can't imagine keeping her rear facing until she is two, let alone one. Anyone having the same problem?
