nola78:I have mine done at MFM, so I have the scan (during which the tech usually tells me everything anyway - they are great at the place I go, very knowledgeable), and then I have a consult with MFM for the official results.
Ditto. With DD, they found I had complete placenta previa. The tech suspected it, called the MFM in right away, and I had my diagnosis within minutes. I'm not sure what would happen if they found a problem with the baby, but that's definitely something you can ask your doctor about before your appointment.
I guess I will just ask my OB at my appointment next week. I go to a group of clinics, so my U/S will be at a different clinic than my OB is, so my guess is that we will have to wait for results.
