I am 14 weeks today. Last night, I went to the ER due to moderate bleeding. The baby looked great on the ultrasound; heartrate was 150 something and was moving around like crazy! However, they said the placenta had moved and the bleeding was coming from behind the placenta. The bleeding has since stopped. I am waiting for my OB to call me back after he looks at the ultrasound pictures. From what I've read, the placenta can't move so I'm thinking they mean it detached slightly. Subchorionic hemmorage or hematoma? They said it was not placenta previa. The ER staff just read what the radiologist wrote so I felt like they really didn't know much about it. They were very vague and couldn't really answer my questions. I can't wait for my OB to call me back so I can get some answers. In the meantime, if anyone has any info or experience with this, I would really appreciate it!
