When I was a teen, I had a period about every 4 months. I got on the pill (consistently) about 5 years ago, and had on-the-dot, albeit light, periods until I went on Ocella about 2 years ago when they were finally "real" periods every month like clockwork. I had doctors tell me, when I was younger, that my symptoms were "consistent with someone with PCOS" but I don't have cysts, and I haven't had any doctors mention it since.
I went off the pill at the beginning of August and had one normal period at the beginning of September. Granted, I'm only 45 days late now, but how long do I wait before asking someone about it? I took a pregnancy test mid-October and it came back negative. Should I take another one sometime? When should I start to worry? They say a year without conceiving, but that's with regular periods, right?
