I've been against this from the day we brought her home, but last night I had no choice. The second I laid her down, she was awake. I hold her and rock her for probably less than a minute, then she'd be asleep again. I ended up putting her in the swing and it was the best night of sleep I've had in seven weeks. She woke up one time to eat and was back asleep again.
My concern is that having her sleep in the swing will cause transition problems later on. Has anyone else experienced this? Normally, she sleeps in her PNP at night and naps in her swing during the day. I don't know what made last night any different, but she wasn't having any part in sleeping in the PNP. Am I worrying about the transition too much? I definitely need my sleep, but I'm willing to sacrifice it longer if it makes things easier for her later on. Any thoughts?
