My 10 month old woke up vomiting on Thursday. We went to the doctor and she said everything looked fine and was just a bug. So we've been doing diluted formula and pedialyte per her recommendation. She won't eat any solids but have managed to add a little bit of rice cereal in her bottles.
Now it's Sunday and she's been steadily pooping watery green stools - constantly - and vomited again tonight, though I suspect we just fed her too fast.
I was nervous about all the poop, so called the nurse hotline this weekend and after a series of questions and me checking on a few things (moisture in her mouth, etc) the nurse she just needs it to run its course. And as long as she's still taking liquids and keeping it down, then it's fine.
Oh, did I mention my husband and I also came down with the bug yesterday? Exhausted.
I'm feeling very overwhelmed and feel horrible for her. I thought she'd be better by today, but not so. Any end in sight? Advice?
