Kira is too trendy sounding for me. Maeva sounds made up...why not stick to Maeve? Or one of the othe millions of girls names that start with a M and end with an A?

Eurastar27:Kira or Maeva? We can't seem to agree
I like Kira/Keira and Maeve, I could go either way (both were on my list, only Keira was on dh's). Maeva seems off. I

Maeve- sounds like an illness or a skin disorder. I know several Maeves and I can't stand that name.
"does this look like a Maeve to you?"
"I'm afraid I have a bad case of Maeve"
kmichln:Of the 2 I like Kira. I don't like Maeva/Maeve at all.
I prefer Kira to Maeva.
Maeve to Kira.

I still give the edge to Keira. I like that name.
