Feels like I got kicked in the back

So I woke up with morning with a horrible pain in my upper back. It feels like I got kicked or punched in the ribs. Its wierd because I very rarely feel baby kicking there. It is way high up and extremely sore. Has anyone else experienced this???

    Me me me!!!  I was just telling DH the other day that it feels like someone got a 2x4 and just whacked it across my upper back.  SO not fun.  I have no clue why it feels so bad!
