It's really not that common.  Good luck!

It's not common at all. Less than 1% of twin births end up with 1 delivered vaginally and the other c-section. How many twin mom friends do you know that this has happened to?

  • I didn't want to take a chance.  When baby B was breeched at 32 weeks and I was planning to get my tubes tide so I opt for the c-section right away.

I had vaginal delivery with my daughter and it was so easy.  I did not like my c-section at all because I had some complication with the spinal anesthesia they gave me.  It causes me to have a major spinal headache.  In the end I would do the same regardless because I didn't want to take a chance on baby B being in distress if they can't get her out in time.  Then I would have to do both anyways.

Are you talking about singleton friends? Because it isn't that common in twin births.

  • Ah!!! I misread! I was referring to strarting out with a vaginal and it turns into csection. Got it now:

  • I also had a double whammy.. not something to hope for. Fun times.. I didn't know the term either until I experienced it.
