Water - MORE THAN I"VE EVER HAD!

I'm having a TON of water throughout the entire day. I find that I cannot get enough of it. I JUST found out that we are pregnant (4weeks) and this is my second pregnancy (miscarried just at 10 weeks over a year ago). My nurse practitioner said that water was the best option for a beverage - but is/does/did anyone else have this same circumstance? I'm seriously drinking like 6-8 16/20oz bottles of water a day!

    I am the same way.  I won't go anywhere without water, because I am constantly thirsty.  It is my biggest symptom. Our bodies are producing more cells and blood, so we need it.  I read something where pregnant woman should be drinking 10 glasses of water a day.

    I reject all other fluids. Water water water water, maybe a 7up for my tummy, then water water water water. No crystal light. And it has to be ice cold.

    It's hard to get work done!  If I'm not getting up to refill my water glass, I'm getting up to go to the bathroom.

    I have one cup of coffee in the morning and the rest of the day I drink water. I have a 16oz cup with a straw that I refill at least 6 times through the day, if not more. ;) I don't know if I have ever drank this much water in my life !

    Yup! Same here. Can't seem to get enough. My DH seriously thinks I'm out of control. Of course though the more you drink the more you pee!!

    I just found out I'm pregnant, and I have been downing tonnes of water, won't go anywhere without my giant water bottle.  Glad to know it's not unusual!

    I found that in the third trimester if I don't guzzle water all day I get contractions :(

    This is all also helping us gear up for breastfeeding!
