Everything went great. Measurements were perfect, baby is actually measuring 5 days ahead now, and based on the u/s she said our risk of chromosomal abnormalities is extremely low. She did say it looks like the placenta is anterior, so it could be a while yet before I feel movement, but she also said the placenta could shift. Here's the funny part: the baby was lying face down, curled up, in the ideal position for measuring the nuchal fold. He or she just layed there patiently while the doctor took the measurements, then when the doctor was done LO rolled over, waved at us and kicked his or her feet a few times. The doctor said, "This is the most cooperative baby I've ever seen!" The whole scan took fewer than ten minutes. That's a far cry from our scan with DS, which took 90 minutes bc he kept wiggling so much! So clearly this baby is a bit more laid back than Jack, lol!
