Fifty Shades of Grey baby boom!

So approximately 6 weeks ago I read the fifty shades series. We found out we were preggo about a week ago. My husband says to me yesterday "honey, if its a boy we should name him Christian".  I told him that would be perfect considering Mr. Grey is the one who got us to this point...  lol     I'm wondering if there is going to be a baby boom in 8 months

I am definitely having a Shades of Grey baby and I know of a friend or two who are as well!  I will bet that we are not the only ones!

My sister talked me into reading 50 Shades of Grey because she knew we were TTC . she said if I wanted a baby I should read the books. Well here we are and Im 6 weeks!!

Christian Grey is absolutely the reason we are expecting! I read all 3 books twice within 2 weeks and well we got the BFP early last week.  My husband also said that we should name the baby Christian if it's a boy....I'm sure there will be a lot of Christians in 2013!

Yup, ours is too!!  We got pregnant on a trip to Mexico and everyone on the beach and by the pool was reading it too.  That was my prediction--our babies will have a huge class at graduation! :-)

This.  I can't imagine a couple who thinks it would be cool to name their baby after a character from a trashy novel.  "Okay, my teacher wants me to fill out this questionnaire about myself, number 1, how did you choose my name?"  "Oh, there was this awesome book about a BDSM relationship and it got mommy and daddy all riled up, we did the deed and POOF, here you are!" ... "What is BDSM?"

We are having a 50 Shades baby as well!!! We were leaving for Dominican Republic in 3 days and I completed the book and conceiving within those three days.  Needless to say I completed the series that week and Definitely sealed the deal )  Inappropriate BUT TRUE!!!!

I wouldn't doubt for a minute this book had something to do with our conception!  I was reading the first one about 6 weeks ago and I was definitely waaaay more in the mood!  We won't be naming the baby Christian, but we may certainly be a part of the boom!

Oh my gosh!!  We also got pregnant on a trip to Mexico and I was not the only one reading the book on the beach either.  You weren't staying in Cancun the last week of June were you.... haha.  I bet there will be a lot of Ana's and Christian's in that graduating class!

This is hilarious that so many people are experiencing the 50 shades baby boom. My husband doesnt know much about the books except that they are "dirty" and I had read them all pretty quickly. He was actually the one to suggest the books did this! lol 6 weeks and a day.

I got pregnant about three weeks after I finished the trilogy!! This cracks me up, my husband thinks all my romance novels are silly but he never complains about the results. XD

Yep, another 50 Shades baby here! 6 weeks along and was reading the last book around the time I conceived!  Took a test two weeks ago, and one of my first thoughts was that my baby is definately a result of 50! ha ha

Ours is a 50 Shades/Outlander baby! (Outlander by Diana Gabaldon) I was reading one and listening to the other in my car to and from work.

But I read all 3 of the 50 Shades books within what I now know to be week 3 and 5 so it is much more of a shades baby than an outlander.

Oh definitely, oh my goodness! 

I hadn't put two and two together, but I had just gotten into the first book when we conceived. I had noticed book turning up our sex a bit, but that is just hilarious!

Why are people being so judgemental?

I've never read the series's but I think it's funny the baby boom that seems to correlate to it. Good for you ladies! Whatever gets your motor running!

This is the first time I've actually been curious enough to want to read it after reading these funny posts!

I read Fifty Shades of Gray as well, and I absolutley hated the book. We are pregnant as well, but it is not because of the book.
