Generally from 6 ? -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed. A normal heartbeat at 6-7 weeks would be 90-110 beats per minute. The presence of an embryonic heartbeat is an assuring sign of the health of the pregnancy. Once a heartbeat is detected, the chance of the pregnancy continuing ranges from 70-90% dependent on what type of ultrasound is used. If the embryo is less than 5mm CRL, it is possible for it to be healthy without showing a heartbeat, though a follow up scan in 5-7 days should show cardiac activity.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
That's right on target! I went for my ultrasound last week (lmp has me at 7 weeks but LO measured at 6 weeks, 4 days) heart rate was 117 bpm. Dr said that was perfect as the average is 90-110.

Mine are in siggy. 122 and 124 at 6w3d (should clarify: I'm having twins). The doctor has been really pleased with their heartbeats and just last week at 8w3d they are all the way up to the 170s :-) I think you're right on track.

At 6 weeks our baby's heart rate was only 98. At 7 weeks 3days it went up to 114 and then 2 days later above 130. Your fine :-)
Thanks, guys.
I hate that I am such a worrier.
My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage. There was a low heart rate at around 7 weeks (85bpm).
After that, I had successful pregnancy. My DD is almost three.
Ugh, the first tri is so nerve wracking.
