High heartbeat tale...

I have heard the old wives tale that if the heart rate is above about 140 then it is probably a girl, below 140 is a boy. Does anyone know any truth to this? Just curious... We find out the sex in about 4 weeks and I'm dying to know!!!

    I have boy/ girl twins and their heart rates have been very similar throughout the pregnancy (153 and 158 at last check)

    I was told it hold some truth, but not until like right before baby is born. Before then, all babies heart rates are higher.

    I asked my sono tech if this was true (130s-140s for a boy, 160s-170s for a girl) and she said it's about 90% accurate but that you can't really tell just based on that.
