lindslalala:Everyone says pregnancy is supposed to make your hair "awesome". Mine has been a greasy, non-awesome mess as well!
Yep, same here! I actually use Head&Shoulders and it works well, but its still greasy the very next day (like you wouldn't believe...it looks like I haven't showered in a week). At least it lasts til the next day, though, my old shampoo (at $20 a bottle) even dried greasy...
My hair has dried out. It's four or five inches shorter now, but I have to use the same amount of conditioner that I used before I cut it to get it to feel soft. If I skipped the conditioner, I wouldn't be able to get a wide-tooth comb through it.
Pregnancy straightened and thinned out my mom's hair (sorry mom) and she hasn't gotten it to hold a curl since I was born. I have fine, poker-straight hair and I was kinda hoping pregnancy would work the opposite magic on me. Now I'd just like to have my old hair back.
Jenks509:Dry shampoo will be your friend. You spray it on you roots, let it dry and brush through. If you have dark hair, make sure you really brush it out or you will have white streaks in your hair. Also, if you only wash the hair that frames your face and use dry shampoo on the crown and back of your head, you can extend your blow out for an extra day ot 2. I'm not a hair dresser, just very lazy!
I will definitely pick up some dry shampoo and maybe try switching brands for my regular shampoo. I'm so glad that this seems to be a pregnancy symptom and not just something new for me. Thanks to everyone!
