So I'm trying to think of a cute homemade christmas gift from LO for family members. Maybe something with his footprints? Is anyone creative and have any suggestions or ideas?! Thanks!

LO #2 - TTC 7 months, surprise spontaneous BFP!
the picture has been floating around pinterest but there are no step by step instructions. we started making these and I'm winging it, so here are my steps:
1. make salt dough - 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup salt, 1 cup flour. mix all ingredients and knead well
2. roll salt dough - maybe 1/4" thick or so? (might have been thinner)
3. press feet into dough (add water to dough if not soft enough to reasonably press feet)
4. cut around foot print
5. make hole for ribbon (will shrink, so make slightly big)
6. bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours on cookie sheet sprayed with pam (this is as far as I've gotten)

Next I plan to:
7. paint w/ acrylic paint, let dry
8. spray with gloss acrylic paint
9. put ribbon through hole
thanks!!

Re: Footprint Christmas Craft Ideas
We're doing this:
It's a salt dough ornament painted w/ acrylic paint and then coated with a gloss acrylic paint spray

where online can i find a good step by step for that?? I found a few on google but none of them look as pretty as that one.
I don't know how to upload pictures but here is a link for what we are doing. We aren't doing it on canvas either. Just some nice card stock paper.
