Easy & cheap DIY grandparent gift idea! PIP

I saw these DIY marble magnets on Pinterest and thought they would make great gifts for family and friends. Instead of using scrapbook paper or magazine clippings like the Pinterest tutorial, I decided to use the index page of mini photos that came with my Shutterfly prints. They were the perfect size for this project!

These magnets are so easy to make and they are super cheap too! My mom's birthday is next week so I wanted to make her something personalized that the kids could give to her. Plus, who can't use a few more magnets? I am going to make some more for Christmas gifts.

That is so cute, but those glass stones, at least the ones I've seen, are sooo tiny, like 1/2 an inch. Do they make bigger ones, like 1 inch?

The ones I bought were the exact same size as my circle punch so they are roughly 3/4 of an inch. I also bought some bigger stones that look to be about 1.5 inches. My mini photos were too small for the bigger stones so I will have to find something else to use with those ones. I was thinking of printing out the ABC's and 123's and putting them on a magnet board for my older LO to play with.
