Re: Itchy!

  • I would call your dr tomorrow. That can be a sign of cholestasis. Hopefully it's nothing, but I would let them know.
someecards.com - I'm well on my way to getting absolutely nothing done today.

  • I have the same thing except it's my hands and feet. I have busted open the peneten cream but that doesn't help for long. Hopefully my doctor can give me something for it on Tuesday because it is driving me crazy too! For now I'm just going to keep running cold water on them and using peneten. At least it takes the itch away for a minute

  • Def call dr so they can do some blood work in the mean time... this is going to sound completely crazy but it has worked for me. Try using a blow dryer on your feet. (its one of those crazy old wives tale) Do until it almost hurts it will give you some temporary relief. Ive been itching for about 7 weeks now uncontrollable to the point where I don't sleep because of it. I have been tested for Cholestasis and my blood work came back fine. Pregnancy is just making me itchy to the point where I've made myself bleed scratching so hard without realizing it. Moisturizer actually made it worse. Good luck hope you find some relief!

  • Thanks for all the suggestions. As crazy as it sounds, I will try the blow dryer trick - at this point I'll try anything! I'll just give DH a heads up first so he doesn't think I've lost my mind :)

I'm seeing my Dr. tomorrow, so I'll request blood work to check liver enzymes. I'm hoping it's just a topical issue.

    Thanks again ladies!
