When do babies usually stop putting everything in their mouths?

With an 11 month old, 3 dogs, and an elderly grandmother with alzhiemers living in my house there are always things on the floor.  Lucky me, my daughter always finds them before me and tries to "dispose of them" in her mouth for Mama.  Most of my friends with kids have told me this stops around age 2-3.  God I hope.  Good luck and have a great day!

I almost have DD broke of this. A couple of months ago everytime she put something in her mouth that wasn't suppose to go in her mouth I'd say "not in your mouth" and give her something else to focus on. Now when I say it she takes it out of her mouth right away and she hardly puts anything but food in her mouth anymore as well.
