Beta Question

I've never had a beta test before because AF always showed up before the date.  Normally when I go get blood testing done, they call me that afternoon with the results.  Does it work the same with beta tests?

Am I really going to have to sit on pins and needles all day?  O.o

Re: Beta Question

  • I have never had a beta either, my RE only does them with IVF cycles or a pos hpt on an IUI cycle. But, from other posts here, yes it takes some time to get the results back. Stinks.

  • Yes, you'll most likely have your blood drawn in the morning and get the call from the nurse in the afternoon with your beta.
